Read the text about media. Prevod

Films are made for many reasons: for entertainment, education and propaganda. Because they are so popular, they have a great influence on people, their perception of life and knowledge. People tend to believe what they see, which gives films a universal power of communication. Film has become an important medium.

Media (pl. of medium) are different means of communication. For example, television, radio, the newspaper and the internet are different types of media. Here's a list of media as they developed historically:

1. Print (books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines, etc.), from the late 15th century
2. Recordings (gramophone records, magnetic tapes, cassettes, CDs, DVDs), from the late 19th century
3. Cinema, from about 1900
4. Radio, from about 1910
5. Television, from about 1950
6. Internet, from about 1990
7. Mobile phones, from about 2000

Different media use different technologies for communication. Broadcast media such as radio, recorded music, film and television transmit their information electronically. Print media use a physical object such as a newspaper, a book or a pamphlet. Internet media provides many mass media services, such as email, websites, blogs, and internet based radio and television. Many other mass media are also present on the web, by having TV ads that link to a website, for example. In this way, they use the Internet to reach many different regions of the world simultaneously and cost-efficiently.
