Pros and cons of travelling by car

Travelling by car has many advantages and a few disadvantages, too. If you own a car, you can travel wherever you want and do whatever you want. You are in charge of the whole journey.

On the road, you can stop where you want and enjoy the view. If it's hot outside you can use air-conditioning and play yourself some music. You also decide which person you want to take with you.

Travelling by car, however, also has some disadvantages. You must be focused on what is going on the road and the fuel is expensive. It's also possible that there are some traffic jams, especially at toll stations where you have to pay the toll. If you travel to an island you have to pay for a ferry so the journey can be quite expensive. Furthermore, you have to respect the speed limits.

Despite the disadvantages, travelling by car is still a good choice, especially for me because I like driving myself around in a car.
